As many of you may have read, the Kansas Legislature recently passed the FY 2010 budget and it was signed by Governor Sebelius on April 13th. The only new program funded by the Legislature was KAMS! We thank you for all the support you gave in helping us preserve the program.
We would like to invite you to continue to support the Kansas Academy of Mathematics and Science. Through your tax deductible contribution to KAMS, you will help ensure the vitality of the Academy. We are committed to educating Kansas’ future leaders in mathematics, science and technology and helping to ensure a bright future for Kansas. We welcome support from individuals and organizations who wish to partner with us in achieving these goals. Also, if you know an individual or organization that might have an interest in supporting KAMS and would like us to contact them directly, please do not hesitate to contact us.
KAMS has identified the following needs:
- Room and board scholarships for KAMS students
- Renovation and security for Custer Hall, the KAMS residence hall, on the Fort Hays State University campus
- Internship and research opportunities for all KAMS students
