Come Look at the Stars at FHSU!

stars For those in the Hays Area, the FHSU Astroclub will be providing open viewing times from the Observation Deck of Tomanek Hall (located in the mechanical penthouse level) from 8pm to 10pm, Monday through Thursday, on days that FHSU is in session and the skies are clear. These times will change later in the spring to adjust for longer days and daylight savings time.

The viewing is free and open to the public. Special tours can be arranged for groups by contacting the Astroclub through the FHSU Physics Department.  The FHSU Physics Department contact information is available here. So, come on up and look through a scope in celebration of the 400th anniversary of when Galileo pointed his telescope to the sky!
