A cache of more than 80 Clovis-era tools recently were found by landscapers in the backyard of a Boulder, Colorado home.  Named the Mahaffy Cache and approximately 13,000 years old, this is one of only a handful of tool caches from this era.

But, even more exciting is what researchers found on these tools.  The Mahaffy Cache is only the second Clovis cache to be tested positive for protein residue from Ice Age mammals.  Tools in the Mahaffy Cache tested positive for camel, horse, sheep, and bear protein.  For more information, see the Associated Press article here.
