jellyfishScientists have just published in Deep Sea Research Part II the discovery of a new arctic jellyfish.  This small blue jellyfish, from the group Narcomedusae, will be formally classified later this year.  This jellyfish was originally discovered during a study funded by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Office of Ocean Exploration and Research, but the details of that study were only recently published.  For more information, see redOrbit.
