Arctic Jellyfish Discovered
Scientists have just published in Deep Sea Research Part II the discovery of a new arctic jellyfish. This small blue jellyfish, from the group Narcomedusae, will be formally classified later this year. This jellyfish was originally discovered during a study funded by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Office of Ocean Exploration and Research, but the details of that study were only recently published.
