While the new Ares I-X  completed a two-minute flight Wednesday and the launch itself was considered successful, one of the three parachutes on the booster failed to work properly.  The parachutes all opened, but one deflated early.  As a result, the rocket landed in the ocean with too much force & was dented.  For more information, see Discovery News.
