This year’s Leonid meteor shower should peak on November 17th.  Forecasters predict a mild shower over North America, with 20-30 meteors per hour.  But a more intense shower, with 200-300 meteors per hour, is predicted for Asia.  Keep in mind that is it very difficult to predict the intensity of the showers.  For viewers in Kansas, the first Leonids should arrive around 3 a.m. CST.   For more information, see NASA.
